Do you charge for shipping your Fake Cakes?
We do charge for shipping outside of the Starkville, Ms area. We do not have an upcharge on shipping. The cost to ship your product is the price you pay. In the Starkville, Ms area, we can deliver your product to any business location.
What are the payment options for the purchase of a Fake Cake?
We accept cash, business checks and credit cards. Our credit card payments are not made through the website. We feel it is best for your protection and ours that we use our local bank.
We will contact you for your payment option and will charge your credit card through our local bank. Your payment is insured and backed by Renasant Bank in Starkville, Ms.
We use a strong security measure to prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of your information once your purchase is made. Your credit card information will not be kept by Fake Cakes or Renasant Bank. All transactions will be held in the strictest confidence.
It is a very safe and secure option.
Any personal information you provide is not shared with anyone else. It is kept within the protective services of Fake Cakes. Your email will be added to our list and you may receive an email from us from time to time concerning new additions to our stock.
Will I be charged sales tax?
You will have to pay sales tax on your order. It will be 7% of the total. That is the rate for Mississippi and where I will file the payment.
How do the Phone Orders work?
All purchases must be placed by phone. The number to call when placing an order is 662-312-5867. Leave a detailed message if I am not available to answer your call.
Your call will be returned at my earliest convenience.
Will I receive a confirmation in my email for my purchase?
Yes, you will receive an email confirmation when your order is made and when it is paid in full. This email will serve as your receipt.
How will I know when my order is on it's way to my destination?
When your order is complete, boxed and sent UPS, you will receive a tracking number in the email you provided us when you placed your order. You can also contact us if you have any questions about your order.
What options do you offer for shipping?
The only way we will ship an order is with UPS. They offer a way for you to keep in touch with your purchase. We do not ship to any PO Box numbers. We will need a complete address in order to ensure a proper delivery.
How long does it take to receive my order once it is shipped?
The length of time it takes from the shipment date to the delivery date depends on how far it has to travel. We will provide the date given to us by UPS when your order is shipped. That information will be included in the email you receive when your order is processed for shipping.
Do you ship rush orders?
We can ship rush orders, but it will cost you more in shipping charges for a faster delivery time. We do not upcharge any shipping so you will pay the cost charged by UPS for a faster delivery.
What do I do if I need to cancel an order?
You can cancel your order as long as it is still in my possession. After it is processed by UPS for a pickup, your order cannot be canceled. There is no fee to cancel an order.
What do I do if I do not receive my order?
If you do not receive your purchase in the allotted time by UPS, please contact me or UPS. Be sure you provide us the correct address for the delivery. Neither Fake Cakes nor UPS will be responsible for an incorrect address provided by the purchaser.
Your purchase will be returned to Fake Cakes and we will contact you with the information provided by UPS as the reason for the return package.
We strive for a Guarantee of Satisfaction. But, in the event you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us for the purchase price minus the shipping. There is a 14 day limit on a return.
We will need your order number, the credit card number used to purchase the product and the complete shipping mailing address provided when your order was placed.
If you paid by business check, your check must have cleared before a refund will be issued. A return item number will be needed for a reference back to the order.

If your order is a gift basket, we will not refund any amount if the basket has been opened. The reason we seal it is to protect any food items from being tampered with. This is for your protection and for ours.
We ensure all food related items in the basket to be within the date of freshness and the items are not loose inside the seal.
We strive to create for you an honest purchase and expect you to honor our policies and procedures.
If the box that the purchase is shipped in is damaged, please inspect your order at once. There may be some damage to your order. If so, please report it at once to Fake Cakes and UPS for your protection and ours.
A photo of the damaged box will be necessary for a refund request. UPS will have a record of the damaged box as well.
Fake Cakes is operated out of my personal home in Starkville, Ms. All products are created and made at my personal home.
All orders made through email for Fake Cakes will be done through firstname.lastname@example.org. The phone number used to call Fake Cakes is not a business phone, but my personal use phone.
